Begin, End, Begin
When you're in the middle
I'm at the side
When you're in the wheel
I'm your passenger beside
When you're at work
I'm around to be found
when you want to be left alone
I'm the loneliest in town
When it comes to risk
I'm the one to blame
And you frown
When it comes to little wisdom
That's my space, that's my rhythm
My good grace.
You've never been in my city
If you only knew where i live
Cause as we both know,
A walk "home" is imperative.
If you only knew the bits and drills
How good a friendship feels
How a heart feels
What a heart aches for
You'd be a better chore
You'd be a better friend
Without competition, without descent
And then only then
I'd be in the middle,
right where you are
Staring the distance
Maybe the girl at the bar
Me sipping my water
You the Bailey's forth round
