Artipod - a poem's journey

Glo in the dark

Besart Cani Season 2 Episode 40

Share Your Thoughts With Me.

Just imagine for a bit

No location just a stream of memories

Walking blindly past the bridge

Leading yourself down that ledge

The nights of Glo, not even mine

This is how i remember

And this i how it rhymes

I am the past that keeps writing

Not to you but to myself!

This i how i remember

And this is how it now dwells

If it hurts just be grateful

It will not hurt one yesterday

And no need to repeat it

I say what i know, i know what i say

A Split near Split

Some memories find corners

Of your mind and sit

Along with new comers

I remember talking about some flowers

Had to keep it short not to bother

The Bud that was pretty busy

Making up a story full of nonsense

I hope you’ve learned to behave

I hope you do love and respect

The ones that stay

The ones that for a slight moment

Thought that you are okay

I hope you finally know how to ride

Your emotions, your past, your future

The cars are not important

Only details in the picture

I hope you drive yourself to different places

Not like the past but with clear intent

To make one feel slightly healthier

Not to widen the spectrum of those you hurt

I hope he sees the light of tomorrow

at the end of this tunnel

The inevitable future that one day

He will reach

I hope that the glow in the dark shows him

What is not visible in the puzzle piece

I now know why it was easier

to glow in the dark

The lack of people around

Made it hard for me to look

for another spark

I hope it glows in the light of day,

through those many windows

The grey facade

The yellow paint!

People ignore the rhythms of life

What was once ours belongs to someone else

Some things can’t glow into eternity

Especially when one is the prey!

I remember pieces of those dirty tricks

Makes me shiver in this night full of glowing bits

As I've always said

The problem only begins when i start to remember

Not when i forget something!
